How NutriOptio uses cookies and similar technologies

This page explains what cookies and similar local-storage technologies NutriOptio uses on nutrioptio.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and a Service Worker cache in our Pro web app — they are not cookies, but California's CCPA and the EU's ePrivacy rules treat them the same way, so we disclose them here too.

What we do not use

How to control cookies

1. Turn off NutriOptio analytics on our public site

You have two easy options:

2. Clear our local storage in the Pro app

Open your browser settings, find "Site settings" or "Cookies and site data," locate nutrioptio.com, and choose Clear data. This will sign you out and clear the cached app shell. The app will still work — you'll just have to sign in again.

3. Use Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control

NutriOptio honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request under the California CCPA. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will not "sell" or "share" your personal information — though we do not do that in the first place.

4. Delete your account entirely

Pro account holders can delete every record we hold by emailing privacy@nutrioptio.com, or following the instructions on our Data Deletion page.

Changes to this policy

If we add a new analytics or payment partner, we will update this page and refresh the "Last updated" date below before the new partner is enabled.
